Services for Brother Clarence Mahan are today, July 5, 2008 at 1 PM. We will gather at the Nanjemoy Baptist Church for viewing at 11 AM and the service will follow. The family has requested private time together following the funeral service.

Brothers Chris Dobry and Ronnie Miller will be ordained as Deacons this Sunday, July 6, 2008 in the morning service. We thank the Lord for raising up these two fine Christian men to serve His church.

Funeral Arrangements for Brother Clarence Mahan

We will gather together and comfort each other today, July 5, 2008 at Nanjemoy Baptist Church.

The funeral arrangements are:
Viewing Time: 11am to 1pm
Service Time:  1pm
Pastor Brian Corrick will conduct the graveside service.

The family has requested that any contributions go to either the Maryland Point Baptist Church building fund or Civista Medical Center

Anyone donating food for the family can drop it off at the Mahan residence (10175 Adams Willett RD) starting at 10am.  Any questions on food, please call Ellen at 301-246-4721.

Vacation Bible School Set Up

 We need help setting up the large tent for V.B.S. We will gather at Nancy & Ann Marie's home after Clarence's funeral service to get everything ready for V.B.S. Please come and help this ministry today.

 Everyone is invited to attend the first annual Pizza Chow-Down in La Plata following our morning worship service this Sunday - JULY 6, 2008. Brother Ronnie was so proud of everyone for memorizing the names of all 66 books of the Bible that he offered to host this first awards ceremony!
